Before I let you know about my new blog project, I have two fun things I want to share with you first:
1. If you have a Facebook account, PLEASE click here and "like" my comment on the CineMoms Facebook page (that link takes you directly to their wall). I am in the running to win a chance to attend the Twilight Atlanta event and maybe even meet some of the cast. It only takes 30 seconds to "like" my Facebook comment and it would mean a lot to me! The winner so far has about 75 "likes" and I have about 30 "likes". So, I need all the help I can get! I just need to at least make the top 5 to meet the cast! Plus, I can do a blog post on it after and share the juicy details! The contest ends Saturday at 11:59pm ET.
2. I just painted this tonight. Its cute, but I've decided that abstract art is not my strong suit. Fun night, none the less.

Now on to the good stuff:
I came across this awesome Australian blog that a mom set up with her four year old daughter called The Princess Letters Project. They wrote letters to princesses all over the world with questions the four year old came up with - from "Do you brush your own hair?" to "What are your plans for Christmas?". They actually got responses from a lot of the princesses over the last few months! Some of the princesses even sent FedEx packages filled with books and extremely nice, personalized letters. I was so excited that after work I hurried over to Hallmark and picked up some purple stationary (Obviously pink was my first choice, but I figured purple was perfect because it is the color of royalty). I headed home and spent the last four days making my list of royals, finding their addresses, and writing letters. I sent them today and will blog about any responses I get. Below is the list of royals I wrote to. While writing letters I learned a lot of cool things about these lovely ladies. I hope they write back, so I can share some cool things about them:
Princess Haya of Jordan (and now princess of UAE)
Queen Rania of Jordan
Queen Elizabeth II
Duchess Kate
Princess Victoria of Sweden
Princess Madeleine of Sweden
Princess Martha-Louise of Norway
Princess Astrid of Belgium
Princess Claire of Belgium
Princess Maxima of the Netherlands
Princess Alexandra of Luxembourg
Princess Mary of Denmark
Princess Charlotte of Monaco
The bold names are princesses that are not from royal families but married into them instead. One lucky gal met her prince at a pub!? There is still hope for us yet, ladies!
