I feel like all I am hearing about the last few weeks are New Years Resolutions! Do you have any for 2012? In the past, I haven't done anything too serious in regards to resolutions, but I decided to make some this year. I am starting today instead of on January 1st though due to sickness and travel. Let me know what yours are in the comments below because I love hearing about them!:
1. Blog at least three times a week.
Enough said.
2. Work out at least 4-5 times a week.
Before I got staph infection in the middle of December, I was doing really well at working out a lot during the week. Currently, I haven't run or worked out since then! I hope to get back into my routine as soon as possible especially since I have 3 races coming up in the next three months.
3. Do something different with my hair.
I really like growing my hair out long and then cutting it short every so often. The last time I cut my hair short was last November for Locks of Love. I think its time for a change. I'm thinking this lovely hairdo below. Also, I am thinking of washing my hair every other day since it is better for your locks. If you have any tips or know of any great dry shampoos, let me know!
4. Continue saving money.
I have actually been quite proud of myself with regards to saving money. I put a percentage of each paycheck into my savings the moment I get paid. If you have a hard time saving, I recommend doing this or even have part of your paycheck go directly into your savings before you even see it.
5. Be a better person.
I probably need to narrow this resolution down a lot, but I basically want to be more self-aware. By this, I mean I want to take more time to think before I do things and make the best choices - such as with working out, taking the best care of Lily, eating right, etc.
Those are my five resolutions for 2012. Be sure to comment below with any resolutions you have as well as tips for keeping them! Also, let me know what you think about the hair cut!
I had a really great 2011, so I hope hoping 2012 is just as wonderful!
