If you are taking it easy today and having a Sunday Bumday, you should definitely check out this new show of 2011-2012! I don't know if you have heard about ABC's new show, Revenge, but I am OBSESSED! Its about the drama that happens among the rich and not so rich living in the Hamptons over the summer. Most of said drama is created by the new Hamptons resident, Emily Thorne. Emily lives her life as a young orphaned socialite visiting for the summer, but viewers quickly find out everything is not what it seems. Emily is actually Amanda Clarke, a girl who's life was destroyed by the king and queen of the Hamptons, the Graysons.
The Graysons framed her father for a huge crime he did not commit when Amanda was only nine years old. The last time she saw her father was the night he was being hauled off by the FBI and she was being taken to a mental institution - and later a juvenile detention facility until the age of 18.
Unfortunately, Amanda's father, David, died in prison, but not before he was able to write Amanda letters about the Graysons and how they framed him. Now, Amanda is back in the Hamptons with a new identity and a new set of skills to get revenge on everyone who abandoned her father in his time of need. Although she is ruining people's lives one by one, she is saving Mr. and Mrs. Grayson for last. Along her vengeful journey, we see many surprises: She forms a relationship with the Grayson's son, Daniel (is it a real romance or part of her scheme?). The Graysons have problems of their own and might destroy themselves. Amanda's father was having an affair with Mrs. Grayson up until his trial. The drama goes on and on! It makes for some good questions and some good television!
I suggest you try to catch up and tune in Wednesday nights at 10pm EST on ABC!
