I feel like there is so much wedding talk swirling around me at the moment. My mom and my sister are engaged. Many high school friends are engaged according to Facebook. Plus, I feel like all the blogs I read have wedding posts and recaps as well. It's everywhere! But, I think the recent wedding story I love the most at the moment is that long time famous bachelor Matthew McConaughey wed his girlfriend of six years/mother of his two kids/Brazilian model, Camila Alves this weekend. Supposedly, they whispered their vows to each other so only they could hear them - how romantical!
Anywoo - you know what else is romantical? Disney weddings! I don't remember when/why I started following them on Twitter and Facebook, but I absolutely love their photos. Disney can do so much these days - Hawaiian destination weddings to simple and classic weddings at the Grand Floridian. They can even do more than weddings - bachelorette parties, birthday parties, receptions, bridal showers, etc. Other than mentioning that the Disney wedding coordinator's business is called Franck's Bridal Studio a la Father of the Bride, this post will be all photos! Check out my favorites:

| This couple wanted an all white cake, but if you look closely they piped different events and places all over the cake that the couple shared during their relationship thus far. |

| I don't know if this couple has traveled all over the world or just really loved EPCOT, but their cake has countries from around the world! |
All photos are from the Disney Weddings Facebook page.
I once tweeted Disney Weddings that I'm in love with their photos even though I don't have a groom or a dress. They tweeted back that they would be waiting for me. Haha - I love it! Would you ever get married or throw a party through Disney? Having done four runDisney races, I'm surprised I haven't seen a single proposal along the course either at the Finish line or the castle. I feel like Disney would go all out for couples and even be able to set something like that up! I did watch a whole show on Disney events once - a birthday party, a bridal shower and a wedding on the Travel Channel I think. They definitely aren't cheap, but it seems like the wedding coordinators can make anything happen...kind of like magic! ;o)

I got married at Disney and it was amazing!!!!
ReplyDeleteI bet it was! All the photos I've seen look gorgeous and fun :o)
DeleteMy brother proposed at Disney (I can't remember if it was Cali or Orlando), but it was pretty awesome...ly expensive! They got professional pictures, themed stuff during dinner (He proposed during dinner in the castle). They got married on Laguna Beach, and then took a day or two to Disneyland & even got to go into the super secret invite-only restaurant! But seriously, I love looking at everyone's wedding pictures... It makes me want to plan a fabulous day like that all over again! It was so much fun - and it was so great to see everything work out the way you wanted it to (We were lucky!) and know that everyone was having a great time!
ReplyDeleteLOL, your "awesome...ly expensive" line cracked me up! Sounds like a very cute proposal though! I hear ya! Even though I'm not close to being engaged, I still like to have a weddings Pinterest board for the future just in case ;o)
