| Lily turns ONE! |
This past September I adopted the cutest dog ever! You can read all about Lily's background story and the adoption process here. Her rescuers believe that Lily was born on June 23, 2011 which means her 1st birthday is this weekend! Since I will be in Colorado for the 2012 Fitness and Health Bloggers Conference, we have been celebrating her birthday the past week with photo shoots, toys and a dog-friendly peanut butter cake. Yum! Check out Lily's life so far in my photo montage below :o)

SO adorable! I love her coloring! I really want a dog - but the darn husband is putting his foot down. Many have told me just to bring a dog home, which is super tempting... :)

I waited a really long time to find the perfect dog. I wanted to buy every dog I saw, but I am so glad I waited because Lily is awesome (and she was cheaper than all of the other dogs I looked at). I think good things will come to you for waiting...in the shape of a fun puppy!
