I am having a BLAST at the 2012 Fitness Health and Bloggers Conference this weekend. I will be doing daily recaps all next week, so be sure to check back soon! Until then, here are this week's posts, adventures, and workouts:
Posts:
Monday: I Wanna Be A Marathoner...
Tuesday: What's In A Name?
Wednesday: Happy Birthday, Lily!
Thursday: FHBC12 - My Itinerary!
Friday: Happy Blogversary!
Adventures:
I was so busy this week just preparing for my trip to Colorado.
It was Lily's 1st birthday - so we had a photo shoot and I made her a peanut butter cake!
I had the most amazing time at the excursion into the Rocky Mountains + yoga courtesy of goodnessKnows! It was absolutely gorgeous.
I have met so many new people during this trip - I cannot wait to get to know them better and follow their blogs!
I have a serious food baby from all the good food I've eaten while in Colorado - at least I know it is a healthy food baby ;o)
I've totally slacked on the workouts I planned this week, but then I did the conference's workouts. Therefore, I can't decide whether to feel guilty or not...decisions, decisions?
I learned so many tips on how to improve my blog from fellow FitFluential Ambassadors.
I've enjoyed networking with people from all over North America.
I'm coming home tonight with helpful contacts and new friends!
This whole weekend has basically been one huge ADVENTURE, so be sure to read all about it in the next few days!
Workouts:
Monday: rest
Tuesday: rest
Wednesday: 1.64 mile walk
Thursday: 6 mile hike along the Royal Arch Trail + 1 hour yoga sesh
Friday: 30 minute Tabata bootcamp
Saturday: 1 hour sunrise rooftop yoga + 1 hour Zumba sessions
Sunday: run

I can't wait to hear all about your amazing weekend! :) So glad you had a wonderful time!
ReplyDeleteIt was so much fun - like a health and wellness retreat! I'm trying to finish up all of my recaps this week!
DeleteDon't feel guilty, I saw the pics you posted from the classes during the conference. I was wondering, though, did you have a hard time adjusting to the thin air? We've noticed it a bit, but not too bit... But we also haven't done any hikes, just errands, so far!
ReplyDeleteI thought I would have a hard time adjusting to the altitude since I literally jumped off the plane and headed to Boulder to climb a mountain. Surprisingly, I didn't have any issues with it.
DeleteI took Tylenol about 30 minutes before landing and tried to drink a lot of water. I think the key is staying hydrated. I did get out of breathe really quickly on our way up the mountain, but we took a breather every so often.
Just make sure you and your family stay hydrated!
