This past weekend I attended the Runner's World Half and Festival in Bethlehem, PA. It was quite possibly my favorite running weekend ever! I have about eleven posts planned just to talk about all the fun and exciting things that took place in the last four days, so be sure to check back.

The festivities kicked off Thursday evening when we got to join the magazine editors at a BBQ at the Emmaus, PA headquarters. Rodale Inc. headquarters is amazing especially for anyone trying to live a healthy and active lifestyle. The cafeteria includes meals featuring local and organic ingredients and there is a running/cycling path on site. The coolest part is that employees can take advantage of the variety of fitness classes offered throughout the day. Jealous yet?

Dinner was delicious - we had hot dogs, hamburgers, potato salad, pasta salad, tea, brownies, cookies, and raspberry lemonade!

After some food and socializing, we were fitted with brand new ALTRA Zero Drop sneakers! I'll tell you all about these shoes in a separate post, but they are pretty awesome. Being fit for shoes that meet our specific needs was really cool especially since the founder of the footwear, Golden Harper, was there to answer any questions we might have.

Later on, we were given a tour of the offices. It was neat seeing where all the magazine magic happens. I've watched the Vogue documentary, The September Issue, so it's cool seeing a magazine's office in real life.

The December issue cover - it isn't even out yet!

They just took down the pages of the December issue earlier that day :o(

Rave Runs - probably my favorite photos ever! Can I be a model/runner for these photos please?! #naturenerd
My favorite part might have been seeing all of the Men's Health covers from all over the world from this year. Those are some gorgeous guys!
Don't you love this guy's stache on the cover of Turkey's Men's Health?
Brazil has some hot covers, but the boob grab would never fly on a US cover.
From eye candy to real candy - one of the editors had this eight pound chocolate egg at her desk! Brooks sent it to her and guess what?! It came with shoes inside! I would die - those are two of my favorite things.

To top off the great evening, we finished with s'mores! The night just kept getting better :o)
