My Year in Review - 2013

As I've mentioned in previous posts, 2013 was probably the toughest year of my life, but it's neat to look back to see how far I've come. It had a rough start, but overall I was blessed with amazing opportunities and new life-long friendships this year. I'm very grateful. Check it out:

January
I started a new job at SoulCycle Greenwich which honestly changed my life (as cheesy as it sounds).
I dealt with the loss of a parent.
I completed my first marathon.

February

March
I visited Atlanta for my sister's shower/bachelorette party and to catch up with friends.

April
I was contacted by The Bachelor to interview for the show.
I participated in the 2013 Sports Bra Challenge in Union Square.  It was so much fun that it needed two posts...
I took my first trapeze class and became addicted!

May
My mom came to visit and we went on many adventures!
I rode 40 miles around New York City with my mom during the 5 Boro Bike Tour.
I saw Justin Timberlake in concert at the Roseland Ballroom.
I saw numerous celebrities at the Met Ball.
I attended Fitness Magazine's FitBlogNYC event.

June
I ran my first Spartan Race in Tuxedo, NY.
Lily turned 2!
I visited Atlanta for my little sister's wedding.

July
I spent Independence Day watching fireworks from the roof of Rockefeller Center - one of the coolest things I've ever done.

August
I saw Eli Young Band, Zac Brown Band, and Kenny Chesney in concert in Atlanta.
I attended Barry's Bootcamp thanks to Chobani.
I got my hands on a notorious Cronut, and it was amazing!
I attended both a Braves and a Yankees game this season.

September
I saw Newsies on Broadway!

October
I left SoulCycle to start a new job at Reebok.

November
I celebrated Thanksgivukkah with friends.

December
I celebrated my one year SOULversary as a SoulCycle rider.
I saw the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall.
I celebrated my first New England white Christmas.

As 2013 comes to a close, I'm trying to reflect on the past and prepare for the future. I have big dreams for 2014. For some reason (maybe because 2.14 is my birthday, so I love those numbers), I think it's going to be my year! A girl can dream...

Have a happy, healthy and safe new year!

Stay fit and fabulous,

A
